    1996 Ranger Trailer

I have a 1996 Ranger dual axle trailer and I don't think the braking system is working. It seems like my truck brakes are stopping the trailer. I was wondering if I need to worry about this or just leave it alone?

If you have brakes then I'd get them fixed. You won't miss them until someone pulls out in front of you and then you are going to wish you had the trailer brakes working.

I agree with rangerguy, do your self a favor and get them fixed. At least looked at by someone qualified.

    Re: 1996 Ranger Trailer (blazin461)

I am going to have them looked out as soon as possible. Thanks. I went fishing Friday and Saturday and both times when I was backing into the driveway it seemed like the truck was straining a little. I was wondering if that would be the brakes? I had read on here that when backing a trailer that the brakes activate is that right? Thanks for the help.
