    trailer brakes

How do I know that my brakes are working? I think they are, but not sure. the reason I wonder is b/c I have the trailer plugged in with a flat 4 and my trailer has flat 5 so 1 is not plugged into anything. This should cause my brakes to lock when backing right? It does not, I can back easily. thanks

Look for rust on the rotor, if it's clean the breaks work

You shouldn't be able to back up without the tires locking. Check fluid level in the master cylinder and call Lyn at UFP.

Just replaced all my ufp break system, It won't even let me back up if the trailer is unplugged and on concrete.

(Is Lyn sleeping on the job again)???

Sounds like a wiring problem, if you just installed a new solenoid...You need power to the solenoid in order for it to work ...
