98 Ranger trail with cool hubs. One of my hubs turns milky. It is getting water intrusion. I have changed all the seals along with the oil. Same result after I put it in the lake once. I am thinking the spindle is worn or something. Is there a sleeve or something I could slide on? there is a groove where the seal rides. Is there supposed to be a sleeve there that is missing?
air in hub causes this....the hub needs to be full...
OK, it took most of the afternoon but I got it completely full. I microwaved the oil first to get it thinned down. those last few burps take forever. next project is the brakes. They are driving me nuts
I have already done the brakes, over and over again. They work great until a fitting comes loose or a line breaks. I think I have all of the old line replaced now so it should be fine.
