I have a 1999 Dri-Doc single axle trailer with UFP components. While I was changing the springs and what nots due to excessive noise and wear I found a bigger problem. The rear eye hanger has a spacer with a bushing running through it. It appears the spacer is supposed to be flanged on outsides of the hanger. However, one of my spacers is severely worn and rides freely on the bolt.
I think I know the answer to this but here goes. Is the rear eye hanger all one piece or can you somehow put a replacement spacer in there? The hanger is welded to the trailer and it will be a pain in the backside to change this whole part if it is in fact one piece.
Anyone have any advice; or should I contact Lyn?
