    Axle

The other day I turned a corner and heard a loud clunk, when I looked the rear axle of my trailer popped up and wheels were off the ground. Had to take boat off the trailer and pry the axle down with a wood post. The equalizer doesnt seem to balance out or something, any ideas what could cause this.

I had that problem with a tandem Xpress trailer. The spring hangers were welded too far apart or too close allowing the equalizers to "flip" ... No need in taking the boat off the trailer, Just jack up the trailer and it will flip back with little effort. I think you might be able to put a slightly longer or shorter equalizer on it to solve your problem.

I'd see if UPF can sell you the fix.... http://www.ufpnet.com/Suspension.htm

    If they dont sell them....

I had so much trouble with my tandem that Xpress traded me back to a single.
