I take a trip to taylorsville every spring and Im usually in wide open fishin mode but I have been wanting to kill a pig too. All the info google haas given me says there are a lot of hogs in Mississippi so Im lookin for anyone with info on public ground or a cheap 1 day deal somewhere close to Laurel or Maghee and maybe Hattiesburg.
I'm not so sure hogs are in those areas. All the hogs I know of are more in the delta areas and around the MS river. TB waterway areas too.

Life is kinda hard but it's
better than the other options .. er ..option !
Believe me there are hogs in this area. Just got through checking my cam with pics of about 10 different hogs on it. I plan on taking them out ASAP.
As far as public land where you can hunt, I know the Tallahalla WMA around Montrose has some hogs but I don't know if you can hunt them in the spring.
Usually most land owners don't want the hogs on their place so it may be easy to find a place to kill one
