Well, it's about time for me to trade my four year old bow in for another. It seems that about every 4 years the bow and cam technology has evolved into greater speeds at less weight, with greater let-off percentages. I've run the full gamut. Started with a Golden Eagle, then a Hoyt, then Mathews, Parker, and currently shooting a 2006 Bowtech Allegiance. I went into my local shop and no more Bowtechs??? Instead they were carrying Elite Archery (as well as the other standards) It seems that the chief designer of Bowtech has left and is now married to the president of Elite.
I fell in love with the Elite "Pure" and think I'm gonna buy it. Smoother than any bow I've ever pulled, and I couldn't believe how hesitant the bow was to let go of full draw. I would not creep AT ALL!! I could have held it at full draw all day long! Turns out that Elite has been a major player in riser machining for many makes, for years, and started turning out their own brand a few years ago. And with Bowtechs chief designer on board they're a rocking bow. They also have the coolest warranty I've ever heard of. If you bow dies on a hunt(say you cut a string with broadhead) They will deliver to you you're exact same bow as a loaner within 24 hours,so you can keep hunting. Will come setup just like yours, sights, rest peep, etc.
Every online review I've read has been great so I'm pretty sure I'll have a new setup by next weekend. Does anyone on here have experience with Elite??
