although i must say they did a good job!
three years is a crime.. your taxidermist either takes too much work or is the laziest in the world. i would have went and taken it from him or her before i would have let him have it that long.

mine took 3 months, but I also shot it in September so it was one of the first ones he received for the year. Why did it take so long to get it back?

he did say he was back logged but he is a friend of mine. i also said i would rather him take his time and make it look perfect but wasnt expecting 3 years either normally late season bucks for him go in his shop for 9 months.
Awesome deer! Don't think I could have waited three years to get it back but I guess if it was a buddy ya could at least stop by and look at it every once in a while.
he may have hung it over his mantle for the last 2 yrswouldnt blame him on that deer, congrats
nice looking buck, But 3 years is un heard of.

I had a deer done by a good friend that took nearly 3 years. I was getting a little pissed but he did one heck of a job. He hasn't got any of my deer since.
My guy takes a year minimum and has a don't call me I'll call you policy. My 12 pointer took 13 months. It's a long wait but he does an awesome job.
