Shooting Cor Bon 240 grain hunting ammo out of my new Encore barrel. Looks like I am going to have to find a more robust scope...

I went through 3 nikon's with my .300 win mag barrel, then i went to Leupold, and never looked back !!!

Try a Bushnell Holosight on there, you won't be breaking it. I've fed my Raging Bull some very hot loads and that sight loves it....never adjusted zero or had to tighten anything on the scope either...I set it on there, zero'd it and haven't touched it.

My .44 mag Contender has a Leupold 2.5X and it held up nicely as well but I do like the red dots for quick shooting with a handgun.
