    Buckmasters Magazine

A few months ago I got a call from Buckmasters for interest in a 5 year subscription. I told them I wouldn't commit to anything but they could send me info in the mail if they wanted to nothing more. A couple of weeks later they just started billing me no info nothing. Then they call me asking why I haven't sent a payment in and I told them I wasn't interested and to stop calling and remove me from thier listing. Then last month they called again asking if I would be interested in a 5 year subscription. I explained what had been going on and told them no.
So today I get a notice from RMCB collection agency for $130.90 via Buckmasters. I called Buckmasters customer service and was pawned off on the collection agency and they(Buckmasters) could do nothing about it. I have just filed complaints with Alabama's Attorney General Office and Better Buisness Bureau don't know what else to dobut I refuse to pay for something I didn't agree to. I would appreciate any other advise or opions on this matter.

Jackie needs his money! Poor customer service makes you want to go postal. I can think of a few companies that SUCK to deal with over the phone.

You can send a debt validation letter to the collection agency - basically dispute the debt and demand they provide proof that you owe the money. Unfortunately you will need to send it via certified mail otherwise they will claim they never recd the letter. I am pretty sure they have 30 days to either provide the proof or drop the claim. As long as they do not have your SS# they should not be able to ding your credit score. Send Buckmasters a certified letter demanding proof of subscription and let them know you are going to let as many people as possible know about their shady policies - not likely to help but can't hurt.

Same thing happened to me here while back with Buckmasters. I finally did the cert. letter to the collection agency disputing the fee and demanded proof that I had subscribed (which I did not)................mysteriously, I have not gotten a call from them since..........................still mad about the whole deal. I wouldn't buy anything associated with Buckmasters now................even quit watching on T.V. ......................RR

+1 They pissed me off more than once. I told them to renew and stop calling. the last time I renewed was for like two years and then they called me within 90 days wanting me to renew. I explained to them the conversation that I had with the previous person that called in which I just said all I want is the magazine and you all to quit calling, since you can't do that I'm done with you. Now I only get the NRA mags American Hunter and American Rifleman.

Well after emailing Buckmasters informing them of the complaints that I had filed with the attorney general and bbb. They emailed saying they have canceled/removed me from their system. I hope this is the end of it
