Not my biggest - and you can't see it from these pics, but the main beams are really thick.........and I love how dark his rack is. Let me tell you this too - I consider myself a pretty strong guy - but this deer was HEAVY! I had to go back and get the 4 wheeler/trailer to get him out of the woods.......it was insane!!!
I'll post more when I get the head back from the taxidermist..........

Alabama is so screwed up with it's hunting, no tags. No way to keep up with what is killed, they supposedly have something in place but no way to track it or anyone to really enforce it.

My buddy's dad shot at this same buck last year and missed him.......he was only an 8 last year.
Funny thing - is that I bought 2 doe only tags on Friday and had every intention of filling the freezer.........9:42am this bad boy snuck up on me. it's a comical story of how I had to stand, turn around, get ready.........it was crazy - but in the end I got my buck!
Figures too, that he had to run off down the steepest, thickest ravine to die.......he's so heavy I had a hell of a time trying to pull him up and out of there. I ended up just going sideways and angles down the ravine to get him to a close trail till I could get the 4 wheeler..........I was tired after that.
Now today my neck is so stiff I can't turn my head...........guess that's bucks revenge.
