    Which Bow

Which bow do you guys shoot, and which bow would you like to have. I currently shoot a Bowtech Tomkat, but I am interested in a Reezen, AlphaMax, and Admiral.

Re: Which Bow (gettin after 'em)

I currently shoot the Reezen and like it. I have held the AM32 and I liked it too, but didn't shoot it. Can't speak about the Admiral, myself. Shoot all 3 and see which one YOU like and feel the most comfortable with. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those choices, now its down to your preference.

I also shoot Bowtech, I've got an Allegiance. I paid so much for that rig it better last me for a while I like the looks of the Admiral myself but Matthews Reezen would be my second choice if I wasn't so much of a Bowtech fan.

The Admiral will be a sweet treestand or blind bow with it's short Axle to Axle length, I've got a Bowtech Blackhawk that is around 31" too and it's perfect for close quarters.

I have been looking and I have decided on the Hoyt Alpha Max myself going to get it next week! You need to go shoot them for yourself though.

Like everyone else has said, shoot as many as you can and get what fits you best. I shot the Bowtech Air Raid and the Reezen and settled on the Reezen.

I AM NOT BASHING......If you go with the Reezen make sure you check the top wheel. I bought a brand new right out of the box last week. There is tremendous play in the wheel and it leans bad. I bought it in Houston and I am going back next week to the dealer to see what he can do to fix it. It is so bad I quit shooting it. It is making the string miss the top string suppressor. I was told buy my local dealer that they are selling so fast they are assembling them too fast and not checking anything. Don't know if that is true but I do know I bought it in Houston because he didn't have any in stock for about a month and I got tired of tired of waiting.

I love the bow but just dissappointed right now because I always wanted a Mathews and now this.

    Re: Which Bow (BassCatnVa)

I shoot a Mathews DXT, absolutely the best bow I have ever shot. I can't wait to hunt with a bow under 30" axle to axle, should be a treat. I would suggest doing what I did when picking out a new bow. I shot the whole Mathews line, the Hoyt AM32 & AM35 and the PSE G-force and Bowmadness. The DXT just felt the best to me. All 3 brands were extremely nice and it might take some time to narrow your choices-you will be glad you did.

If you like the Alfa Max.....Be sure to check out the Hoyte "Turbo Hawk" as well. I shot both last week, and ended up buying the Turbo Hawk. It's an early release 2010 bow, and is a lot of bang for the buck....Check one out before you buy!
