Crow hunting is one of my favorites. My setup depends on my mood and if I feel like using a rifle or a shotgun.
Generally, I'll start out with a shotgun, an owl decoy and a Crow distress or rally call. Crows hate Owls and will attack the decoy. Don't call too much, since Crows are exceptionally wary critters and will become suspicious if you're calling too much. A good blind or at least camo is necessary because their eyesight is excellent. I like to wear a woodland digital camo trousers, shirt and boonie hat. I also cover my face with a camo balaclava. Get rid of anything that is shiny, and a camo sock or paint job for your gun would be a nice touch.
Once the dumb crows are killed, you'll notice the smart ones won't respond to a call easily, or even at all. This is the time to bring out the rifle. I like to pick up road killed Deer and set them a couple hundred yards from my shooting position. My usual hiding spot puts me under a group of pine trees which gives me plenty of concealment. I use a .22-250 and shoot from a bi-pod. I'll use the call very sparingly, and I usually place a single crow decoy near the bait pile.
Crow hunting is one of my favorite shooting sports, and I've killed hundreds of them using these methods.
Check these guys out... they really know their stuff.

when we were younger and did the crow thing, we used crow, owl, and turkey calls, using one when the others failed to them riled or interested. if we was in a baaaddddd mood, we'd use turkey loads....................ready ready ready BANG............poof........ nuttn'n but a ball of feathers would come floating from the sky. ahhh, those were some beautilful times
as said above, they love dead stuff, so road kill works pretty good too if ya can leave it for a bit. we did most of ours in the corn lots and surrounding woods so it was always a constany draw
Ohio and Wabash River bottoms is where I hunt them its like duck hunting it happens early.I hunt a flyway early in the morning the crows will come from roost. They will come in a long line for 1 hour or better. You can also find a lot of birds in the evening flying back to roost but they will be scattered for miles so the shooting will not be as good. You can go find birds setting in field go find some woods 1/4 to 1/2 mile away and set up and draw a few birds. But that is a lot of work with not much shootingIf your a weekend hunter the flyway will change by the next weekend. Not by much but enough last weeks set up won't be on the flyway.Ilike to set up in shorter brush if I can the crows will come in lower. These birds have excellent eye site so face mask and being still are a must.My favorite way to set up is for me to be ahead of my decoys30 to50 yards. They will be looking more at the decoys. This way you get to shoot before they smell a rat.I use 6 crow decoys(and the dead ones make good decoys proped up with a stick)
and sometimes an owl decoy.Electronic call with crows fighting crows or owl fighting crows.Good luck
