Mathews new bow

Mathews has a new bow coming out (not sure of the name) but this is going to be a bad azz bow. Mathews was the first come out with the cam and a half system but found that the SOLO cam was a better technology. Well, I am told by some insiders that they are now coming out with a double cam that will IBO shoot 360fps. That is insane.

Can't wait to buy one.

November 17th they should be on the website to look at. A 340 and a 360 fps bow should be interesting. I have heard the same thing about one being a dual cam bow we shall wait and see.

Any idea what the brace height is?...at those speeds, wonder if it's short (below 7") which I find harder to control.....also dual cams...wouldn't that bring back the ol' timing issues?

You guys remember the Ultra Max and the Black Max? These bows were smokin' fast. I had an Ultra Max that would shoot 348fps but it had ZERO accuracy. Speed comes with a price. If there is a way to combine accuracy and speed Mathews will do it.

For those of you that dont like the timing problems,mathews says the new cams are kinda off set at the axle and not in the center making timing perfect always.It also has a new axle thats removable with a two stage clip on it.Still need a press to remove a cam?So yeah there you go guys.mathews is making a one cam and a two cam bow.

Damn. I remember back in the day you had to pull 90lbs to get 290 fps from a Pearson Spoiler or a Jennings Carbon Extreme and they were freakin heavy. These new bows, man....360fps??? Thats crazy, insane, wicked......I'm getting one. Screw the weak economy.

Sounds like they are trying to beat Bowtech in the speed department. It will be great if you can get a 350+ FPS bow that is still shooter friendly but in the past the Matthews speed bows I've seen had ridiculously low brace heights and weren't as fast as advertised. Cool that they are coming up with new stuff though.

Could always go for a Bowtech 82ND Airborne if you have a need for speed.

can you say pse dream season with less brace height. and there is no such thing as a bow that never has to be timed. well i guess you could say that and the average guy believe it but for a bow to be at its peak performace its cam or cams have to be in the right position

Nah til next year at this time... I had my last bow for 4 seasons so I was due for an upgrade.
