Well, this was the youth weekend in Mississippi and my 9 year old sure took advantage, taking a doe yesterday afternoon and another this afternoon. They weighed 102 and 105 lbs. respectfully. The remington 7mm-08 performed beautifully!!!! I couldn't be more proud of him!!!!

Yeah. he is a pretty good shot. I'm so proud of him. He had never missed one until Saturday morning. He missed a doe at about 125 yards. And I'm really happy he did cause it really made him concentrate the rest of the weekend!!!! Walking out after the Sunday afternoon hunt he said, "Daddy, I just wana thank you for taking me hunting. I know how much you love to hunt and thanks for not going so you could take me." I told him not to thank me for two reasons. One, it was my job to take him. Two, it was MY privilege!!!!
