I was thinking of buying a couple myself, but saw some reviews that stated that the anti-reverse bearing gives out and allows the spool and handle to turn backwards. I will wait until Abu Garcia fixes the issue , then I will buy a couple.

I Used one all last season on a 7' 3" ducket mh with 17 pound flouro for c rigs and football jigs, have no complaints and for sure this thing will send a c rig into the next county. All this coming from a shimano guy. The reel shined when I could hook and land some nice fish on really long casts. The high speed. And heavy drag helped to keep a handle on them with a lot of line out.

I just bought (2) of them and I love the way they cast. I wrote Abu Garcia and they replied that they had fixed the issues with these reels, so I decided to buy two. For the price, they are worth buying.

I have one and I like it. Cast smooth an the drag is decent on it. It is a little, and I mean very little, tight to reel. It's not as smooth as many other baitcaster to reel but so far it has performed very well. If you shop around on the net you can find these reels for less than $70. Well worth the price.
