    prop slippage

what does prop slippage actually feel like? When I'm running full trim and wot. it sometimes feels like the engine is misfiring. It doesnt feel this way at 3/4 trim and wot. Is this slippage. Also, my prop is kind of nicked up on the edge of the blades from previous owner. nothing major just small rough edges. It's a 4 blade Stainless. Would a new prop help? thanks all.

You didn't say what motor or how many rpms your turning but you could be over reving your motor and the rev limiter is kicking in causing it to miss. You can have the prop rebuilt cheaper than buying a new one.
