outboard question

If a boat is rated for a 90hp motor, what is wrong with putting say a 125hp Motor on it, as long as you don't go full throttle

If god forbid anything should happen, You're insurance company could refuse to cover any loses. You would be personally responsible for liability. Also if you get pulled over by Marine Patrol You could be in for a hefty fine!
