When did they stop using wood in bass boat transoms or are they still using them?
I know ranger stopped in 1990, Stratos I believe was 1995/6. Most probably ended by 96. However I am sure some one with better knowlege will correct me soon. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure Bullet still uses balsa wood in their transoms and hulls - they obviously know what they are doing. I'm not sure if anyone else still uses it, though.
Tritons have never had wood in them. Thay have always been all composite boats.![]()
