I have my first boat and while spending time on the water this past Saturday I noticed many outboards that sprayed a stream of water out behind them while idling. I know this is to kool them but my old 175 hp evinrude "77" doesn't. The only holes I noticed on the back of mine appear to be exhaust port as the water splatters out and doesn't spray a stream. should mine be streaming water out from somewhere or not?
