I just bought an 88 393V with a Johnson 200GT and Hydraulic jack plate (land and sea). My problem is after I set the jack plate it slowly falls back down. Is this fixable? Does it just need fluid?

Fill the system and then bleed it. If it continues to fall then you would need to possibly do a rebuild on it.
Any idea what the procedure is for refilling the oil is? It's a Land and Sea jack plate. I don't really know anything about it.
