    Jessy,
If the one in your dash is a Lowrance, you might be able to send it in to them to get fixed for less $$ than it takes to buy new.

If your looking for something decent that is cheap, you can't hardly beat an Eagle Fishmark 320 for apprx $150. And, I bet it's the same size as the broken Lowrance in your dash. Check it out first, though.

Looking at some other Sprints that are apprx the same age, it looks like you probably have a Lowrance X25 or X28. I would check Ebay to see if you can find one, or check out other models that have the same dimensions.

As far as swapping them out, as long as you stay with a Lowrance, I think it should be a piece of cake - just uplug the one that's currently in there, remove it, plug the new one in using the existing power/transducer cables (assuming these cables are NOT the problem), and then re-install.

I had an X48 Lowrance in my 00 Sprint 290 DC and it died. I replaced it with a Lowrance X52, perfect fit, if your's is located same as mine, right side dash panel (mirror image of the left side). Good luck
