    MINOR FIBERGLASS REPAIR?

hey guys im new to the board, i live in miami, fl., and recently purchased a 92 Tide Craft Wild Fire about a month ago. i have done some research on fiberglass repairs and my question is not so much how to do the repair (although it would help) but just wanted some opinions on what would be the best way to take care of some minor hull damage. i've been looking at some bondo fiberglass resin in short, long strand, or jelly. all water proof and marine grade. do i need to add some cloth or should i use something else? most of the damage are just minor nicks and scratches nothing major with this one located on the back right corner being the worse.

any help or leads would be appreciated. thanks for all the help. best of luck to all!

    Re: MINOR FIBERGLASS REPAIR? (badhabets23)

Can't tell for sure but the pics look like this is surface 'gelcoat' type damage so I would think a filler resin of some type would work to fill the deeper spots after a little sanding.

You might also post this question over on the Bassboat restoration page. You might get more help over there.
