Has anyone ever done an autopsy on a CDI powerpack to find out what blows in them ?

Powerpacks are all different and have different designs and circuitry inside of them. Got a particular make, model, and year in mind?

More than likely an SCR diode goes bad and then it lets out all the smoke the factory installed in it and poof! No good any longer.
