Data transfer on 2001 FICHT computer

Does any one know where I could obtain the software to transfer the data from my existing EMM computer on my 2001 Ficht 175 HP. To the computer on disasembled salvage motor computer.

As I understand, the computers are not interchangeable, and that each computer is mapped for the motor that it's on. Data includes hours on the motor, injector mapping, serial numbers of the motor.

I also understand that some people just take a computer off of a motor and install it on thair motor.... I do not wish to roll the dice and find out later that the motor now runs a little bit leaner than there old computer had it running.

Seahorse might be able to answer this.

After a little more research I found that data transfer function is capable on version 1.42b omc software, but what it will transfer I am not sure.

Also talked to DFI, they said they would do it for $30.00 but the software is available if I look around also.

$30.00 is cheep, but after $30.00 freight and $30.00 data load, I can buy software and cable for $60.00

However I still don't know what 1.42b will transfer as far a data?

From the manual "The Service ECU/EMM option allows you to copy the engine model #, operating hours, RPM profile, and other engine specific information ( injector coeficients) from the original ECU/EMM to the replacement ECU/ECM."
