    sidescan pic's from 898

    thought these were exceptional pic's of a bridge and logs and trees around that area

    Excellent pics. Very steady and crisp showing the laydowns and other structure!

    I wonder why the varying intensity of the left and right sides? I get this on my 997 a lot and thought it had to do with one side rising toward a bank while the other was more flat. The rising bank always seems to be brighter. Could that be it?

    Could it also be that some of the structure on left side in the 2nd pic is several feet off the ground and casting a "sonar shadow" behind it?
