Trying to find fish

Finding structure with the SI units doesn't seem to be all that hard, but finding fish on the structure is a different story. I've also been playing with the regular sonar, trying to get the settings right. Here are a few pics from a trip out today. Doug, T-Mike..let me know what I need to change and what I'm doing right...Thanks in advance.

Also, Doug/T-Mike.... what is the difference in the different beam frequency for the switchfire and the down image? Is there an advantage of one over the other.

The last 3 images you better drop a spoon down there quick!!!!!

Hard for me to say on the 1st few. Definitely bait fish but it's I'm leaning towards a big school of smaller crappie or white bass in those 1st few images.

Seems like you have another unit running at the same time or your swapping back from one setting to another in your sonar hence the color differences??

For water that deep put your split fire on max, beam on 200/83 and adjust your sensitivity to where you have SOME clutter on the screen (to make sure you get all the details). 1st sonar image looks good. Maybe a tad low on sensitivity but definitely acceptable. 2nd image your swapping here or have interference from another unit? Looks like you turned another unit off and your sensitivity is too high. (click it down 3 or 4 clicks). 3rd image you changed something here??

SI shot 4th image perfect! Yup thats a fish. I call it a needle in a haystack in trying to catch it tho LOL.
