I need to see some pics of some handi cap ramps, becasue I am going to have to build one for my wife.
my little deck it 16" tall and it is 16' long. I going to use 2 sheets of plywood
( 4'X8') was thinking either 5/8 or 3/4. I going to run it all the way to the curb. Also going to put in some treated 4x4 to make a hand rail with.
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
if it is going to be outside.....better off to go with the 3/4 and be sure to put some sort of non skid paint on it............Now to meet ADA standards......do not go more than 1 in 10 fall.......that is 1 inch fall for every 10 feet in length. Be sure to make the 4x4s solid like in concrete or something and a hand rail........All this is for safety reasons....
