Pop up Blocker

I just got a new computer and I have the pop up blocker set to allow pop ups from http://www.bbcboards.net. However, it is still blocking all of my IMs. I even turned the pop up blocker off and it is still blocking my IMs. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

you might have a hidden toolbar like Goggle,MSN,Yahoo etc that has a pop-up blocker enabled.

This same thang is goin on with me , where do I find a hidden pop up blocker ?

I'm assuming you are using Internet explorer. As you can see mine has a "Microsoft live toolbar" and a "Canon easy web print" ............On some you will see a 'google' toolbar or Yahoo,msn,Hotmail,realplayer etc etc. Check to see if any of your toolbars has an active pop-up blocker enabled.

I clicked on it and another bar came up that had a " tools " bar on it and I checked it also , and it also says my pop up blocker is off . I dont know what the hell is goin on . Thanks !!!!!

When one of them is blocked what kind of warning does it give ? Is it a red star for example or some other little icon ?
