    Adding pics to my e-mails

When I try to send more than 1 pic to someone via e-mail, my computer tales forever and then the screen goes to the disclaimer"this page cannot be accessed...ta da ta da tada.I have been told I can downsize the pics and send them not only quicker but multiple pics. Can you tell me what I am or am not doing. Thank you in advance....G

I'm guessing that you have your camera set at a very high resolution and ending up with very large file-size photos. I get photos every day for BBC and quite often they are over 2 megs each.......huge file sizes.
Could be that your Service provider won't allow emails of that size..........not sure about sending but I do know that many have a limit of 5 megs per email for receiving.

Try setting your camera settings down to something around 640 x 480 resolution; you'll send emails MUCH faster and also have far more room on the camera card.

I'm guessing that the 8m, 5m, etc., are 8 megabytes, 5 megabytes which would be very large files. I would think that the VGA setting would be the one that you'd need to use. VGA stands for Video Graphics Display and relates to computer monitors, so I'm guessing that this is the lowest setting on that camera which would be great for emailing, posting on websites, etc.

I usually take pictures a little over 1 MB on the remote chance i want to print them. But before I email or upload I use this converter http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs...=2800 you can downsize without a lot of distortion,If you set it to 640+480 or lower it's good.

This is very helpful, ought to have some way to make it permanent record.
