1996 Johnson 150 J150ELEB
Time for new spark plugs, looking at the chart pinned to the top, it calls for Champion QL78YC's, I know thats whats recommended, if they are unavailable, whats a good 2nd choice? Also Ive always heard these motors preferred the Champ. plugs, how much, if any truth is there to that?

You only see NGK's on the charts for a few applications correct? That should be enough proof.

Just checked the local Auto-Zone and they had 70 in stock. Their computer indicated they were still available.
