    Cheeseburger Pizza

One of my favorite home made pizza's we have every 2 weeks or so is our Cheeseburger Pizza. We've had friends over to try it and every time I mention it, I get a weird look, as no one really knows what to expect. If you like pizza, and you like cheeseburgers, you need to try this.

    Ingredients...
Pizza dough (not sure on exact quantity, but I think 1 lb is what we buy, we get it from the local grocery store, just need to knead it, roll it out, and it's ready to go)
    Pizza Cheese
1/2 to 3/4 lb of Hamburg, whatever your personal preference is for how much you want on the pizza.

    Your favorite burger toppings!
These can be whatever you normally have on your burger. Pickles, onions, tomatoes, banana peppers, bacon (I would recommend making crumbles and not use strips), jalepenos, stuff like that. I have not used lettuce before when making this.
I prefer to dice all of my toppings (onions, pickles, tomatoes) as it makes it easier to spread evenly on the pizza.

Precook the hamburg, and make it nice and crumbled up, as if you were going to add it to a pasta or american chop suey or something.

With the dough prepped and rolled out, spread a light amount of cheese down first. There is NO PIZZA/MARINARA SAUCE being used on this! Then, spread out the hamburg. Again, how much you want on there is personal preference. After the hamburg, add your toppings, again, amount dictated by preference.

When all of your toppings are on there, go ahead and cover it all up with cheese. Yet again, the amount of cheese you use is all by personal preference, but I like to use a lot, as it helps to keep the toppings contained when you're handling the pizza to eat it.

Cook as you would a normal pizza. I usually cook it at 400 degrees for about 12-15 minutes. All depends on just how much toppings you have on it, how big it is, and what you want for a crust. My personal favorite way to cook it is to use a large rectangular cookie sheet (with the 1" tall lip around the edges), so as to make it a sheet pizza. This makes the edges of the dough, and the bottom, slightly browned and crispy.

Now, the important part. When it's all done and cooked to your preference, BEFORE you cut it, pull out the ketchup, mustard, and or BBQ sauce. Drizzle your condiment (lightly squeezing the bottle and moving fast in a sweeping motion) all over the pizza. Personally, I just like to use ketchup and mustard.

That's all there is to it. This is my favorite pizza, closely followed by my own home made Buffalo Chicken Pizza, which I can also provide my personal recipe for if wanted. It's nothing spectacular, but everyone that's had it loves it.

I'll get a picture of this Cheeseburger pizza the next time I make it and add it to this post.

BBQ Chicked pizza is very easy to make, and another favorite I like to make. I still haven't nailed down a BBQ sauce that I am completely happy with to use for it though.

Here's the Cheeseburger Pizza. Kind of hard to see it, but it's the best I could do for a pic.
