    Tenderizer?

What is a good tenderizer for meat that is simple to make and not too expensive?

Room temperature air...bout as cheap as it gets, and will tenderize anything...that and extend the cooking time...

Anything acidic will help break the meat down. Citrus juices or wines work fairly well and double as a nice marinade.
