I am looking for a mild coal slaw recipe, going to put it on top of a pulled pork sandwich, Don't want some thing that will over dominate the smoked pork.
Thanks, Don
Sorry for asking a stupid question, by i live in California.![]()

Go to the grocery store, buy two bags of ready made coleslaw, go to the salad dressing aisle and pick up a bottle of HIDDEN VALLEY COLESLAW DRESSING... Put both bags in a large bowl, pour the entire bottle of dressing on the slaw, mix it up, and let it chill for at least and hour !!!! VOILA..... this is some good stuff![]()
Thanks, going to give it a try.![]()

Add a teaspoon or so of apple cider vinegar and a teapoon or so of sugar and a teaspoon of milk or cream.
The receipe is on the bags of pre-made cole slaw we buy around here.

3 large bags of slaw mix
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
I chop the slaw mix until it is FINE.
bring vinegar, sugar, and water to a boil......remove from heat and let it cool some. I then add 1 teaspoon of gray poupon.
Pour the liquid over the slaw mix and stir well. Put lid on it and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.
Makes a good sweet vinegar slaw that will not over-power the BBQ![]()
