    Need a coal slaw recipe

I am looking for a mild coal slaw recipe, going to put it on top of a pulled pork sandwich, Don't want some thing that will over dominate the smoked pork.
    Thanks, Don
Sorry for asking a stupid question, by i live in California.

Go to the grocery store, buy two bags of ready made coleslaw, go to the salad dressing aisle and pick up a bottle of HIDDEN VALLEY COLESLAW DRESSING... Put both bags in a large bowl, pour the entire bottle of dressing on the slaw, mix it up, and let it chill for at least and hour !!!! VOILA..... this is some good stuff

Add a teaspoon or so of apple cider vinegar and a teapoon or so of sugar and a teaspoon of milk or cream.

The receipe is on the bags of pre-made cole slaw we buy around here.

Well the over the counter Hidden Valley was not to bad. I do have to addimit i was shocked he would do it that way, He must be getting old. But it worked for me. I had so much going on Super Bowl Sunday, it was a life saver. Going to try the others, Thanks to all.

Re: Need a coal slaw recipe (DBTRITON)

3 large bags of slaw mix
    1 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 cup of sugar
    1 cup of water

I chop the slaw mix until it is FINE.

bring vinegar, sugar, and water to a boil......remove from heat and let it cool some. I then add 1 teaspoon of gray poupon.

Pour the liquid over the slaw mix and stir well. Put lid on it and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.

Makes a good sweet vinegar slaw that will not over-power the BBQ
