    Easy cobler.

    You'll need.
2lbs of fruit or 1 qt. I mainly use peaches, blackberries, or cherries.
    2 1/2 cp sugar
    2 cp flower (self rising)
    2 cp milk
    2 sticks of butter/margerin
Not sure exactly what size caserole dish exactly but the one I use is about 9" by 15" by 3".

Set the oven for 400 and place the 2 sticks of butter in the dish and melt them in the oven.
Mix 1/2 cp sugar with the fruit and set aside, if your using fruit that is already sweetened then you can skip this step.
Mix the flower, milk, and 2 remaining cups of sugar well and pour in with the melted butter.
gently place the fruit on top of the batter and bake @ 400 for 50 min.
As the batter rises it will take on the flavor of the fruit and make a real nice crust on the top.
