I use a quality glass cleaner after each trip, like Invisible Glass. No water marks. I also use it on the electronics to clean the screens.
There a couple of years old so I wanted to actually remove some rub marks and fine scratches without making it worse. Sorry my first post wasn't clear.
But I will look for some of the Invisable glass as well.![]()

if their scratch ..... i use vertiglas. golf cart wind sheild was so back i couldnt see thru before using vrtiglas. but be sure to test a small corner with any product.
3M plexiglass cleaner is the stuff I use and am impressed ever time I use it.
Last time I had one replaced, the fella told me to keep it waxed with regular car wax and it would keep it looking good instead of getting all that cracked up look to it that the sun seems to do after a while. Not sure how to fix one already that way though

The stuff you really want to go with is called "Plexus." It's specifically for cleaning and polishing plexiglass. It's pretty darn good and smells nice too. You have to use cloth to wipe it down; no paper towels (as per instructions). I think I picked up my can at West Marine, but can't remember for sure. For getting scratches out, you'll want to get Meguire's #17 Clear Plastic Cleaner.

Fishing is not a matter of life or death.
It's more serious than that!
i second the PLEXUS. we use this to clean the lexan on our racecars. they have a swirl and scratch remover as well. stuff goes a long way. will clean up pretty much any plastic.
Simple rule. Never use paper to clean plastic, only polish and soft cloths, and never use cloths to clean glass,(lint) only paper. This will keep swirls to min.![]()

I agree with Scratch-X and Plexis.
I polish the plastic with scratch X using my porter cable 7424 using a "finishing pad" I lube the pad using the plexis.
Maintain the plastic with Plexis everytime you wash the boat.
The use of clean quality microfiber towels will not scratch the plastic.
Porter cable 7424 polisher (SAFE as it isnt a rotary)

or you can get the 7334 at lowes (usually $99.99 same machine but have to buy polishing backing plate)
Here are the 4" spot pads.

On our aircraft we have tons of plexiglass windows (helicopters)
To keep plexiglass looking like new; clean with any good window cleaner. (it will leave a opaque film)
Then take any good quality furniture polish and a clean cotton cloth and go back over the window.
The wax in the polish will fill in the minor scratches and make the grazing disappear.
