What does everybody use to shine up their diamond plate? BRASSO worked good for me. I was wondering if there is anything better?
Thanks

I just did my truck today.. I found a Product last year that works Fantastic !
http://gordsaluminumpolish.com/
Scott I drive truck for a living and I polish my truck once every two weeks. It's alot of work but what most people do is polish it then they don't do it again for a month or so. if you do it every week or once every two weeks it is a lot easier to keep shiny and the more you polish you well keep it from pitting. If you have not polished it for a long time I would cut it first. cutting it means useing a high speed buffer. You can go to any truck chrome shop and get what you need to do this and it's very easy to do. or you can get it a truck stop too. I use jewel roudge polish it works awesome for cutting. and bettween cuts I use heavy meatal polish it's a in a liguid form. I use that for hand polishing every wek to every two weeks. Try to stay away from polish that is a paste, like mothers polish, it burns the aluminum
and won't be a shiny as a liguid polish....take my advice if you wish we all have differnt opinoins good luck
Thanks everybody for the ideas. It is shining pretty good now but it can always be shinier. I am going to try to polish it every week or so like you fellas recommended and see how it looks in a month or so. I probably polished it 5 or 6 times within the past 10 days and my wife thinks I may be a little obsessive compulsive because once I get something in my head I tend to obsess about it until its finished. That isn't a bad thing. Right?

I have to agree with Bigbassin-TR21x, Gords polish is the best product I've ever used in all my years of polishing anything aluminum. I used it to polish my Sportmaster L/Unit from a satin finish to a mirror shine in only a few minutes. It took me no time at all to do it and no hard rubbing is involved, that's the greatest thing about Gords Polish, no hard labor involved.
