loose reels on rod

Some reel seats may be larger that the reel seat. I have used a piece of a old credit card cut to the same size as the reel seat and it is the correct size to keep the reel tight and fitted.

...I cut a peice of DR tape or rubber tape and lay it on the seat to take up the gap...<>rob<>..
