    keeping feet warm

besides the obvious of good socks and foot wear if you spray your feet with an anti perspirant before putting on your socks it will help to keep your feet from sweating. No sweat =warmer.

    Keeping feet warm-dry (new idea)

You like your tennis shoes and its below 45 or so out, not counting the breeze over the lake and it could rain today... aw shoooot, what can I do?
... take a quart Ziploc freezer bags and slip your hunter-socked foot into each while sliding both into the tennis shoes... I tried it Jan 20... excellent!
Not only insulates rain from skin but holds in body heat with minimum thickness and cost... 2 ZipLocs! Just keep 4 bags (buddy might need them too) in the boat or truck... could last for many years...

I've done what 11pounder has suggested for quite awhile. It works great so if you have a tendency to get cold feet, just try it.
