Quick, simple, and best of all free battery tip

I like to replace the wing nuts on my batteries with nuts. Easier to secure all those wires with.

But the only drawback is that I weld the wrench to the posts every time I work on them. (OK, I'm exaggerating,,,,,a little)

Today after I arced the wrench again, I noticed a roll of electrical tape laying there that I was using. I wrapped the entire wrench with tape, especially the boxed end, and no viola', more sparks flying everywhere.

I have a few 1/2 wrenches around, so this one will be kept as my "battery wrench".

Quick, simple, and free. Kind of like me.

Not trying to hijack this post but where does the free part come in? Tape, nuts and a wrench all cost money .

    Labor cost....

All the years I have sparked wrenches removing battery terminals, it finally dawned on me to wrap the wrench with tape.
