Save Your Phone,Wallet, Keys from drowning.......

Heres a little tip I use when in the boat to keep from drowning my phone, keys, wallet and anything else I dont want to have to try to find on the bottom of the lake. Before I get into the boat I but my phone, wallet, keys and my glasses into an airtight plastic rubbermaid container(like the ones you use to store you leftovers in). This keeps them all together and if for some reason they were to go overboard they would all stay dry and float. This also prevents me from losing them if I go overboard. I store the container in a locker with my jackets and rainsuit. After I tie up the boat at the dock, I grab the whole container and head to the truck.

Cheap and easy. Just the way I like 'em!

I put my stuff in one of my front compartments first thing when I get in the boat.

And if its raining I still put them in there because my Ranger compartments stay dry as a bone.

Red-topped JIF jars are super... free (neighbors a source also), and 3 sizes allow many useful things in your boat or bait prep area at home to be stored... them and the wrapping of rod handles with tennis wrap are the 2 best ideas I have ever seen this year...

Great idea! I stole some of my wife's Tupperware and do the same thing with it.
