    Cold weather dehydration

You can still get dehydrated when it's cold out. Lots of people like to drink hot coffee and what not to get warm. That can help dehydrate you. Get some gatorade and heat it up and put it in your thermos. Still warm, but yet keeps you hydrated.

Saw this on another site, thought it would be good to post.

And eating Snow before heating it only speeds up dehydration and hypothermia.

A good rule of thumb. If you're not peeing off the boat at least once every 4 hrs, you are probably dehydrated. If your're peeing off the boat 4 times and hour your probably drunk.
