OK, for those of us who are stuck parking outside...
With the weather, you've probably had to dump the water off the boat cover roughly a half a billion times so far this year, just like me.
I've tried keeping all sorts of objects under the cover, none of which would do the trick to keep water from pooling up in the cover.
So, it was time to get lazy.

I grabbed a spare 500GPH bilge pump I had laying around. Wired it to the longest 12V lighter plug I could find (about 10Ft.). Grabbed the longest length of Bilge pump hose they had at WallyWorld (about 8ft I think)..
Hooked it all together, and threw it on the workbench next to the portable battery booster pack.
Now, I just grab the pack and my handy little pump, toss it in, plug it in, and by the time I finish a smoke, it's dry.
And when I actually get to put the boat in the water between rainstorms, I bring it with me, along with a female lighter plug adapter with 2 gator clips on the end (don't even remember where I got that, but it sure comes in handy.).
Now, if the auto/manual bilge pump ever fails, or if something really bad happens, and it can't keep up, I can plug this little sucker in, throw the hose over the side, and take care of business.

Also, for those with pools, this little sob can come in handy come spring, to quickly, easily pump water off the pool cover.
At 2.4AH draw, it won't kill a battery any time soon, either.

Best idea I've had all week, other than moving out of NY, but they just won't let me go.
