If you can post the model number we can tell you what year it is, the model number will be on the same tag as the serial number.
WOW! Just put that motor in my data base & it came back stolen!
Here is what you need to do. Do you have a tittle? If so make a copy or two & put them in an envelope. Seal the envelope. Put the original tittle in a safe place. Run the envelope with the copies through a shredder. Why? Because I am just kidded about your motor being stolen & my data base that does not exist. As Rusty said, post the model number as the model year is coded in it.
