I wanted to buy some new letters for my boat so I have been looking for quite awhile and then someone tells me today that you HAVE TO HAVE BLOCK LETTERS in Michigan! Is this true?? and if so do they enforce it?? from what I understand its just michigan and I saw it in the handbook but just wondering if they enforce it really? thanks!
It's a Coast Guard requirement, everywhere. How much it is enforced depends on how hard you locals want to be.

yes for sure it is required everywhere.. not too long ago a buddy of mine got a ticket for it at r.l. harris reservoir (lake wedowee) but i dont know what the fine was.
