I saw a video they had posted on u-tube last week. They just stick the LED strip to the hull under the rub rail and it is not in the rub rail. In fact in one video, one end of the strip is unstuck from the hull and hanging away from the boat. You can see it in the reflection on the water. (I'm talking about the Wildcat LED's not the Bluewater)
