A little bling for your truck bed!!!

After trying to dig stuff out of the bed of the truck at night witht he tonneau cover on I finally did something about it. I had a few LEDs left over that I got from Mike at Blue Water and thought...I know where I could use these.

I tapped off the tail light for power. I have it so when you turn on the parking light you just flip a switch in the bed and whamo instant bling! So here it is!

I was going to go under the bed rail for a cleaner look but I wasn't sure of the round LEDs would give off enough light. I will probably get the LED strips in the future but this is working pretty well right now.

I was thinking of putting a mercury switch in the tailgate for a really clean look!!

Everything is on Male/female connectors so easy on and off with the tonneau rails!

Mercury switches are soon to be a thing of the past. I bought out my supplier. I think that would work fine.

You've given me an idea for my camper shell. I'm going to have to make an order soon now. Which LED lights are those?

If you really want to slick it up, use those button contact switches like for cars doors. That way, you wouldn't have to undo wires when you remove thetonneau cover.
