I would like to upgrade to either the I-Command or Actia and was wander if the wiring is already in the harness for the motor or will I have to have it ran?

there is a 4 wire plug on the motor near the EMM for NMEA2000 network hookup. You can buy the cable and Tee from your dealer or from Lowrance that goes from the motor to the network backbone.

So does this mean that I will need to connect to the NMEA2000 hookup in the motor than run the wires thru the factory harrness to the console? Or is the network backbone already ran thru the factory harness?
Sorry for all the rookie questions but would like to upgrade gauges and know NOTHING about it. I am just wanting to know what is involved before I decide.
