sold my project Ranger

I just watched my Ranger 350-v pull out and head to a new home. I had put 24oz carpet,new motor guide, depth finders, and $2300.00 in a Johnson GT 150. I worked on it all last summer with my Dad but a layoff pending I had to let it go. I will continue to piddle and learn from you guys but I don't see a new project any time soon. Thanks for all the info and help. I learned alot.

I had a 350V and with a 150hp it would run. Sorry to hear about your layoff.

you do what you have too...hoping that things turn for you soon, they'll be other boats , sometime you have to do what right for your family

I was sick when I sold it but life goes on. I really enjoyed the rebuilding process more than I thought I would. I will most likely try it again. I am going to work on my Dads tin boat with him now. A 28 spl Johnson is a long way from the GT 150 though.
