Chances are, you are going to have to remove the rub rail. Worst part is, USUALLY that means starting at the back. Did you hang up the bow on something while in rough water. Or possibly have the T-motor down hitting bottom while in rough water.

You are likely going to need to remove the entire rubrail (or at least the insert portion of the rubrail) to get to the screws (or rivets) underneath) You can then use a ratcheting type tiedown strap to ratchet the top/bottom back together then rescrew (or rivit).
One thing to be concerned about is that if it separated that much then either the screws (or rivots) holding the top and bottom hull together pulled loose. If it is screws then you may have some gel coat or fiberglass damage where they were ripped out. When you get the top and bottom back together, I would not use the existing screw holes as they are likely stripped out.
Well i got the rub rail off and found that the screws had been striped out so i rachet back together and driller new pilot holes and put new screws in plus some went back together pretty good acually. Thanks for all the advice!

Glad it was a fix such as that than having to separate the top from hull of boat. You might want to check around the transom area to make sure there are no issues in future.
